  1. Attended St Bernard 1961 to 1962 (gr 07 & 08). Can remember the smell of the heating system…probably coal…climbing the stairs to the second floor…girls lined up on one side & boys to the other…keeping time to marching tunes (Sousa) blaring on the PA system..using cheapie smudging ball point pens for the first time… volunteering for the choir to sing @ funeral masses @ the old Most precious Blood church as a way to get out of classroom time … wow …who knew.
Love learning about the architectural history of the school I attended so long ago !!!
