Windsor Rail Yard – 1985

January 6, 2014

This snowy shot looking north towards Detroit, shows the CP rail yards. It was taken in January, 1985. Speaking of snow, drive safely today if you’re going out… I for one am sick of winter.

It took me a while to figure out what those dark buildings flanking the Ren Cen are…when were Victoria Park Place and Royal Windsor Terrace dark, like that?

Gary–when I moved to Windsor in the Mid 90s the CBET-TV transmitter was full height – seems to me by the late 90s or early 2000s it had been cropped.
