The picture above, taken about 1913, was taken from “Garden Gateway to Canada”. It shows the corner of Ouellette and Tecumseh, and the site today occupied by the Jackson Park Gates. A neat view of Sandwich Street, now Riverside Drive just east of Devonshire. The Canadian Club brand centre on the left hand side is still standing, but everything else is long gone. It’s a shame all the trees are gone too.
